Fergie's NBA All-Star National Anthem

NBA All-Star Weekend was filled with great dunks, skills challenges. 3-pt contests and all around showcased the skills of the greatest basketball players in the world, but that is not the story of the weekend. Instead people are buzzing about the "lack-luster" National Anthem performance of former Black-Eyed Peas member, Fergie. Her version of the Anthem was "jazzy, and slowed down" and fans as well as the NBA players didn't seem to like it.

Fergie later apologized for the Anthem saying that she had "been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA" and "I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best."
